How BES Works

BlackBerry® Enterprise Server (BES) is a server system that provides handheld device integration into your organization’s email system. BES connects to messaging and collaboration software, such as DP Solutions’ hosted Microsoft® Exchange, to synchronize email, calendars and contacts between your desktop and your handheld device.
Wireless Personal Information Management (PIM) synchronization
Calendar appointments and meeting requests are updated wirelessly without requiring user intervention. Users can accept, decline or tentatively accept appointments, and get notified of meeting conflicts and adjacent meetings.
