ATSG Announces Construction Quality Manager® Release 3.0
Administration and Data Collection functions have been
dramatically improved.
Baltimore, Md. August 15, 2006 – Advanced Technologies Support Group, Inc. (ATSG) of Owings Mills, announced the newest release of the award winning Construction Quality Manager® application. John Heinz, president of ATSG, made the announcement.
The enhanced version of Construction Quality Manager® streamlines and simplifies the handheld data collection process for builders who capture quality issues as they inspect their job sites. The number of data entry screens and associated data entry steps has been reduced. ATSG has also completely automated the data push process. All database changes, such as adding new jobs or new defect descriptions, are automatically pushed to the handheld eliminating the need for administrative intervention. A complete list of Release 3.0 enhancements is available upon request.
This robust interactive wireless solution enhances a field supervisor's ability to track, manage and resolve construction defects in the field from their BlackBerry handheld. It also provides a database and management reporting system that provides builders with a comprehensive view of their construction process effectiveness.
The system operates on the BlackBerry wireless platform from Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM) and uses BlackBerry Enterprise Server to deploy Construction Quality Manager®, an out-of-the-box solution created by ATSG for BlackBerry. The application uses the Flowfinity Solutions Platform to provide an easy-to-use user interface on the handheld, integration with Microsoft's .NET platform and to support reliable mobile workflow. Flowfinity Solutions Platform technology is useful for extending an existing application to BlackBerry wireless devices. It is based on existing industry standards and enables application developers to leverage their existing tools for creating applications for BlackBerry.
